To commemorate its 25th Anniversary, Martha Trust in Deal threw a very English garden party complete with cream teas and croquet.

Around 60 people joined the celebrations including residents of Martha and their families, supporters of the charity, volunteers and local dignitaries.

The success of a Zumba fundraiser to raise money for a Pilgrims sky dive in March has inspired Deal fitness instructor Paula Murphy to do even more charity events and hoping now to raise enough money to trek the great wall of china for Pilgrims and Cancer charities.

Paula has already been using her expertise in aid of Pilgrims Hospices, but thanks to the support she received from keep-fit enthusiasts, she now wants to  hold a series of fitness events.
